Current Drugstore Makeup Faves

current drugstore makeup faves

Lately, I have picked up a few drugstore makeup products and I have been using them non-stop.  These products have become my makeup staples and I thought I might share them with you in case you wanted try them out for yourself.

1.)  Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation

-I have a full review on this foundation if you'd like to check it out, but I will say if you're looking for an affordable full coverage foundation, you may want to consider this one.

2.)  Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

-This concealer is bomb!  It has great coverage and blends out very well with a beauty sponge.  I have this concealer in the color Tan and it looks really good on my skin tone.  The only downfall or partial downfall is the applicator.  The applicator is kind of weird.  This product comes with a brush "thingy" (best I can describe it lol) on the end and you have to twist the top of the container to move the product up into the brush.  It's not the worst thing ever.  It's just very different from any other concealer I've used or seen.

3.)  Collab The Fundamental Hydrating Primer

-I don't think this primer is technically considered drugstore because this brand is found in Sally's but it is still affordable.  I have normal to dry skin and some mattifying primers can really dry my skin out.  So, I decided to try a hydrating primer instead and I can definitely tell the difference.  This hydrating primer feels really good on my skin and helps my foundation go on smoothly preventing dry patches.

4.)  Maybelline Lasting Drama Waterproof Gel Pencil

-Some pencil eyeliners can be irritating to the eye during application because they're so rough in texture.  This one is so smooth and glides across your eyelids.  The Sleek Onyx (black) color is so dark and pigmented which is what I also love about this eyeliner.

5.)  Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

-Real Techniques really is KILLING it with this brush!  I use this brush to apply my foundation and it gives me an airbrush finish.  I used to apply my foundation with the Real Techniques beauty sponge (now I only use it for my concealer) but I like applying my makeup SO much better with the brush.  The brush doesn't waste a lot of product by soaking it up like the sponge does.  It's also so soft and non-irritating to your skin.

Have you tried any of these products before?  If so, what are your thoughts?  Have a fave drugstore makeup product?  Let me know below!

Love, peace, and sole!
