Today I'm talking all about the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque (whew, that's a mouthful!). Deep conditioning is very important in my hair regimen and I'm always looking to see what deep conditioners work well for my hair. I've been using this hair masque for the last month and am now out of it so I thought I'd let you know how it has worked for me.
What is it?
Deep conditioning treatment
What does it claim to do?
Claims to lock in moisture, smooth, strengthen, prevent frizz and infuse hair with nutrients.
African Rock Fig, Manuka Honey, Mafura Oil
How I used it?
I used this to deep condition once a week after shampooing. I applied it in four different sections, combed through each section, and covered my hair with a plastic cap. I left the product on for at least 30 minutes, usually longer even up to a couple of hours.
What I like about it...
- Smells really good
- Leaves hair feeling so soft
- Helps with detangling
- Increases moisture in the hair
- Nice amount of product in package
- Adds shine
- Very thick consistency
What I don't like about it...
Honestly, there's nothing I don't like about it.
Would I purchase again?
I would definitely purchase this product again! My hair feels super soft after rinsing this masque out. I also really love the smell and the fact that there's quite a bit of product in the container. It's pretty affordable and easy to find in a store near you.
My hair LOVED this product! However, though this deep conditioner works really well for my hair, it may not be your deep conditioner of choice. Yet, I definitely think it's worth any and everyone trying it out! It's just that good! I think most people would see a difference after one use. I give this conditioner two thumbs up!
